Who we are
Tarago Preschool is a 19 place community based service providing high quality education and care for children aged 18 months to 6 years. We are situated in the heart of our beautiful town and operate from 8.30am to 4pm monday to friday school terms.
We have a dedicated Team of highly qualified educators who provide a nurturing caring and stimulating learning environment for all children. Our team implement a learning program guided by the national quality framework. Our program provides the children with the learning opportunities' to develop social skills, language development , numeracy, creative arts a love for books and stories Our preschool provides children the year before school with a school readiness program and connection to our local primary school.
Our love for learning expands into the outdoors and wider community with beautiful outdoor space that caters for our mixed ages .
Community means alot to our families and our educators . Our preschool program involves our wider community through Visits from the Goulburn Mulwaree Library Rhyme Time program , incursions , nature walks in our community, and a strong community presents.
How We Operate
Tarago preschool is totally community and parent managed.
Our management committee is made up community representatives elected annually at our AGM
Our management committee work closely with our team to make financial staffing and policy decisions.
Tarago preschool welcome family any community input and involvement in the development of policies, excursions and daily activities within the preschool
